80 Public Campsites now open at Sunset Lakes Resort

No Strings - No Hassles - Just Camping

July of 2007 brought positive change for the scenery of Sunset Lakes. Rapid expansion of major facilities in 2004 and complementary expansion of the campgrounds and infrastructure in 2006-2007 allowed us to offer limited public reservations for the 2007 season.

The announcement, not quite in time to catch the July 4th rush, created a boom of reservations that reverberated through the end of our October season. With campsites in high demand well into mid September, Sunset Lakes Resort had found it’s place in the public camping circuit, and the buzz most definitely caused vacation planners to reserve Sunset Lakes Resort for the ’08 season.

Members continue to enjoy additional services and special treatment amongst the influx of new families enjoying the 200 acre property. Membership benefits still exist, and are growing every year.
Sunset Lakes Resort is proud to have two opportunities for families to enjoy the park; as a member, or just as a person off the road, both are highly regarded and well served.

An additional 40 seasonal lots and 35 overnight sites are set to break ground as soon as the frost releases it’s wintry grip in early 2008.
